KZN Youth Show highlights the next generation of agricultural participants

The KZN Youth Show takes place at Tweedie Hall, Howick, on 31 May 2026 as part of the first group of R.A.S. Heritage Events.

Hosted by the KZN Youth Show and supported by the Royal Agricultural Society, the event celebrates young people who are developing practical skills, confidence and knowledge across a range of agricultural and show-related disciplines.

The KZN Youth Show is an important reminder that agricultural heritage is not only about preserving the past. It is also about investing in the next generation. Events such as this give young participants the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities, learn from one another, and gain experience in a supportive environment.

Classes this year include dog showmanship or agility, auctioneering, photography, poultry, horse showmanship, rabbits, pigeons and pets.

The event begins at 8.00am on 31 May 2026 at Tweedie Hall, Howick.

The KZN Youth Show is a standalone R.A.S. Heritage Event. The full Royal Agricultural Show, the Society’s annual flagship event, takes place from 7–11 October 2026.
