The 2026 Royal Show takes place at the Royal Agricultural Society's new Showgrounds at Tweedie, near Howick in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands — not at the former Royal Showgrounds in Pietermaritzburg.

The new Royal Showgrounds are situated on the historic Tweedie Hall property, in the large field alongside the R103.

USING GPS OR NAVIGATION
Search for:
Royal Agricultural Society at Tweedie Hall, 2 Petrus Stroom Road, Howick

Please remember that the Royal Show is being held on the new showgrounds surrounding Tweedie Hall, and the public entrance used during the Show may differ from the normal entrance to Tweedie Hall.
On Show days, please follow Royal Show signage for the final approach, entrance and parking.
FROM DURBAN & THE COAST
Travel north on the N3, through Pietermaritzburg and towards Howick. Continue past Howick.
Take Exit 107 – Howick North / Tweedie.
Turn left (watch out for the compulsory stop streets!), and follow the road towards Tweedie and the R103.
At the T-junction, with the “Everything Shop” on your left, turn left onto the R103.
In less than 500 metres, you will see Petrus Stroom Road and the Royal Showgrounds on your right.
As you approach the Royal Showgrounds, follow the Royal Show directional signage and traffic marshals for the designated public entrance and parking areas.
FROM THE KZN INTERIOR
Travel south on the N3 towards Howick and Durban.
Take Exit 107 – Howick North / Tweedie.
Turn right and cross the bridge (watch out for the compulsory stop streets!), and follow the road towards Tweedie and the R103.
At the T-junction, with the “Everything Shop” on your left, turn left onto the R103.
