Pure Venom Brings A Wild Encounter to the Royal Show!
Pythons, cobras, mambas, crocodiles and even tarantulas: Pure Venom Reptile Park is bringing a fascinating collection of creatures to this year’s Royal Show at the new Royal Showgrounds at Tweedie, Howick.
While the Royal Show runs from Wednesday 7 to Sunday 11 October 2026, Pure Venom will be joining us for the final three days only: Friday 9, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October. If this attraction is on your must-see list, plan your visit accordingly!
Explore the Pure Venom exhibition
Pure Venom’s dedicated exhibition will give visitors an opportunity to see a collection that includes big pythons, cobras, mambas, rattlesnakes, a Gaboon adder and crocodiles. Tarantulas will add something extra for those curious about the smaller creatures in the animal kingdom.
Whether you’re a reptile enthusiast or simply intrigued, the exhibition promises a memorable addition to your day at the Show. Reptile selfie opportunities will also be available at an additional cost.
Entry to the Pure Venom exhibition costs R20, payable separately from Royal Show admission. Selfie charges are additional to the exhibition entrance fee.
