Discover the World of Bees & Honey at the 2026 Royal Show

There is much more to honey than meets the eye!

At the 2026 Royal Show, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the fascinating world of bees, beekeeping and honey production through a special display presented by the KZN Bee Farmers Association.

The display will include a wide range of beekeeping and honey equipment, offering an insight into the practical side of managing hives and producing honey. Visitors can also learn more about bees, beekeeping, honey production and the important role that bees play in agriculture and the natural environment.

The experience will extend beyond honey itself, with an exploration of the many products that can be made from the hive. For adult visitors, mead and braggot will be available on tap and for purchase, adding an opportunity to discover two distinctive honey-based drinks.

The KZN Bee Farmers Association will be joined by separate stands from S M McGladdery cc and Bushveld Bees. The honey products, honey-based beverages, hive equipment, and in-depth bee education displays promise to be delicious, informative and enjoyable for the whole family.

Come curious — you may never look at a jar of honey quite the same way again!
