The countdown is officially on — there are just four weeks to go until the Royal Show 2026 opens its gates!

From Wednesday 7 to Sunday 11 October, visitors can look forward to five action-packed days at the new Royal Showgrounds at Tweedie, Howick. With a programme designed to showcase the best of agriculture, entertainment and country living, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

The 2026 Royal Show will feature livestock competitions, agricultural displays, barrel racing, 4×4 passenger experiences, practical demonstrations, talks, crafts, food, family entertainment and plenty more.

Celebrating 175 years of the Royal Agricultural Society

This year’s Show is especially significant as the Royal Agricultural Society celebrates its 175th anniversary.

The milestone will be marked at a very exciting point in the Royal Show’s story, as the event moves to its new home at Tweedie. We look forward to celebrating this important chapter with visitors, exhibitors, competitors, partners and the wider agricultural community.
