2026 Royal Fat Stock Show & Carcass Competition
This year’s 175th anniversary Royal Agricultural Show (29 May–3 June 2026) will see a return of the prestigious Royal Fat Stock Show and Royal Carcass Competition, in the beautiful surroundings of our new home, Tweedie Hall.
These are pinnacle events, where the finest sheep and cattle from around the country are evaluated on-the-hoof by SAFJA (South African Fat Stock Judging Association) and on-the-hook by SAMIC (South African Meat Industry Company), and then auctioned at our evening event attended by the media and discerning bidders.
Now is the time to start preparing your top sheep and cattle for the chance to claim supreme Royal honours in the lamb or beef categories, super lamb or ox classes, or the highly competitive group classes.
