Dorfling Dorpers win 2025 Super Lamb on the hoof

The Royal Agricultural Society warmly congratulates Christo Dorfling's Dorfling Dorpers for their exceptional achievement at the Royal Fat Stock Show and Carcass Competition’s on-the-hoof lamb judging at the Lions River Sale Yard yesterday.

Dorfling’s Dorper lamb claimed first place in the highly competitive Individual Super Lamb class, a testament to their skill and dedication.

The Royal Agricultural Society extends sincere appreciation to Christo Dorfling for his loyal support of the Royal over recent years.

We also wish to thank RPO KZN and AAM Cattle Agents and Auctioneers for their assistance in making this event a success, and SAFJA senior judge Andrew Adams and assistant judge Jonathan Tyler for their professionalism and informative explanations on the day.

The results of the carcass judging will be announced later this week, after judging by Chris Ngeleza of SAMIC at Halaal Fresh Meats Abattoir in Thornville.
