It’s just a month to go until KZN warms up for what is set to be the biggest concert to hit Pietermaritzburg. The Sisonke Music Festival is excited to announce an epic line-up of music entertainment, crowd activities and a memorable experience that will not be forgotten.

Opening the show of the 2019 Sisonke Music Festival will be a Battle of the DJs competition where local, up-and-coming DJs from around KZN will have the chance to showcase their skills and drop their beats for the crowds to hear the music and move their feet. The overall winner of the competition will walk away with prizes including a study bursary.

Headline performers on stage include 2018 SAMA award-winning Sun-El Musician and local Neo-Soul / Neo-Folk music artist Simmy. Both artists will wow the audience with their mix of dance/electronic and hip-hop music. These local artists who have made it big on the South African stage are sure not to disappoint.
