Watch the Woodworkers’ Guild demonstrate their skills at the Royal Show in 2019

Something new and interesting will be taking place at this year’s Royal Show. The Midlands Woodworkers guild will be joining us in the section between Crafts Hall and Hall 4, running woodworking demonstrations for the public.

What You Can Expect

The Midlands Woodworkers Guild, in collaboration with the Royal Show Crafts Hall and The Woodcraftsmen Association of Durban, will be interacting with the public and giving two 1 hour lectures per day for the duration of the show.

Midlands Woodworkers’ Guild: A Brief History

The objects of the Guild is to draw together woodworkers of all disciplines to share knowledge, help one another, enhance members’ skills, learn others’ skills and teach others when requested. They regularly hold demonstrations by those highly-skilled in their respective fields, host regular meetings and encourage members to exhibit and compete at the Royal Agricultural Society annual show and elsewhere.
