One of the public’s favourite exhibits – the Rabbit Section! The Natal Rabbit Club has secured the services of Peter Faint, a British fancier and judge, to grade and award prizes to the exhibition rabbits and products this year. This will be his first judging appointment in South Africa.
The Rabbit Hall showcases the country’s top exhibition breeds, included in this several fanciers from the Gauteng Rabbit Breeders Association will be coming down with their stock to support the show.
An added attraction this year will be a display and a pet rabbit petting area – find it alongside the poultry hall and directly opposite the rabbit hall.
Show and pet rabbits will be on sale for the duration of the exhibition.
The Rabbit Hall will be open to the public from Friday 24 May to Thursday 30 May
Friday 24 May – 13h00 to 17h00
Saturday to Thursday – 9h00 to 17h00
Friday 31 May – 09h00 to 12h00
Closing briefly daily between 12h00 and 13h00 pm to give the rabbits a breather.
No exhibition rabbits will be present over the second weekend (June 1st & 2nd).
